Bob Walton is the founder of 510K Assessment Services, a division of Wise Living Precepts, LLC. Bob has over 20 years experience in Conformity Assessment to National & International Standards for Safety for Medical,
Dental & Laboratory equipment, as well as experience with Europe’s Medical Device Directive. Bob was also a Quality Lead Assessor in the evaluation of various facilities to ISO 9000 Standards.
During his 17 year career with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., Bob was a Certified Quality Engineer with the American Society for Quality, and received a Third Party Review Training Certificate by the FDA for 510(k).
Presently, Bob is a Quality Manager & Staff Engineer at Laser Product Safety, LLC (LPS) performing related duties for facility qualification, as well as, generating Certified Body (CB) Reports for Medical, Information Techology and Laboratory equipment.
Bob holds a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He also attended North Carolina State University for some graduate level courses in Engineering & Management.
